First I’m sure you are asking what the heck is The Big Lebrewski? It is an annual event at Brewery Ommegang, otherwise known as “Belgium Comes to Cooperstown”. The folks at Ommegang brew some really fine Belgian style beers, they also happen to have one of the most wonderful breweries that I’ve seen. If you are able to get tickets to the event, (not very easy but timing is everything) do get the camping ticket too, it is well worth it and takes away the problem of trying to drive anywhere after tasting some of the over 200 beers being presented. Tickets go on sale 4/1/09 (and sell out 4/1/09)
